Jennifer Beals attended the WIGS TCA panel
Jennifer attended alongside director Rodrigo Garcia and actress Sarah Jones the YouTube Channels’ AwesomenessTV and WIGS TCA Panel at the Beverly Hilton on July 25th to promote Youtube’s channel WIGS.
Asked if day will come that appearing on a YouTube series is as desirable as working in TV, she said: “I think it’s so fascinating what’s happening — that we have this other platform for material that is incredibly intimate and it feels like you don’t have to wait for somebody’s permission to be creative,” Beals said. “You don’t have to wait for that magic, huge number in order to go tell a story. Filmakers of the series Jon Avnet and Rodrigo Garcia together with actressess Sarah Jones, Julia Stiles, Virginia Madsen, Caitlin Gerard and Youtube content boss Robert Kyncl joined Jennifer at the presentation.

An Evening For Tibet, a fundraiser event with Jennifer Beals and Sharon Stone
Jennifer Beals and Sharon Stone are the special guests for ‘An Evening For Tibet’ a fundraising event to benefit the work of the International Campaign for Tibet on the occassion of his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s visit to San Diego next week. The fundraiser will also feature Lodi Gyari, special envoy to the Dalai Lama and executive director of the International Campaign for Tibet.

An Evening For Tibet will take place at the Cesak Residence in La Jolla, CA on Tuesday, April 17th at 6 pm. Tickets cost $250.
Jennifer Beals at the Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party
Jennifer attended on Friday evening the 5th Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party co hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow alongside Women in Film President Cathy Schulman at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood.
