Jennifer will join the cast of the ABC drama Castle for two episodes in February. She will play Sophia Conrad, a smart, commanding and CIA operative.
Sophia joins Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) in the search for a fellow CIA agent who has gone rogue and is now the key suspect in Castle and Beckett’s murder case. • Komen For The Cure Honoring The Promise. 28 Oct 11.
Jennifer attended this evening the Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s Honoring the Promise benefit held at the Kennedy Center in Washington. Honoring the Promise celebrates and recognizes global leaders and supporters in their fight against breast cancer.
Jennifer presented the Advocacy Distinction Award to Ellen Sigal, founder of Friends of Cancer Research. More than $2 million were raised at the Gala.

Sappho cosmetics are chemical free cosmetics. One of its products, Jennifer Liquid Foundaton is named after Jennifer.

The Award recognizes individuals and organizations for their unwavering and long standing leadership in working towards a world free of hate. Jennifer gave a poignant speech about the Foundation, her role on The L Word and her L Word Book.

Hallmark Channel's "The Night Before The Night Before Christmas" will be released on dvd in the US on October 11th.
In Germany on dvd and blu-ray on September 19th. In the UK the dvd was already released last year.

This afternoon Jennifer attended the Dalai Lama's public talks and panel discussions 'Bridging the Faith Divide' at the University of
Illinois in Chicago.
Jennifer gave an inspiring speech introducing the InterFaith ARTreach Collaboration and talked about bridging the faith divide through art. A transcript of Jennifer's speech can be read here.
